Maarit has an extensive background in international product development.

She is a pioneer in scaled agile methodologies, having completed her PhD on the subject in 2013. Since then, she has continued to publish scientific papers on agility and scaling. In 2013, she co-founded Nitor Delta and introduced the scaled agile framework (SAFe) to the Nordics. She is a contributor to the SAFe model and a SAFe Fellow.
