Scaled agile methods and frameworks have taught us how to scale agile practices across entire organizations, but the challenge of scaling down remains. Scaling down offers significant advantages: isolated modules can be developed independently, and the total development effort is minimized compared to tackling everything as a single project. A prime example of the power of modularity is SpaceX, which, unlike traditional government-funded space programs like NASA, operated on a smaller initial budget and built its rockets using modular components.
